Books for Kids and Daddys

Hubby is not into kissing HB. Not really. He says it's "weird." I take HB to the library and try to pick out Daddy and Baby books, but most of them involve kissing. Hubby turns his nose up. So here is one book he turns his nose up at:

Daddy Kisses-Anne Gutman and Georg Hallensleben originally published in France
It's a cute books that goes through a number of daddy animals kissing different parts of baby animals (head, paw, etc). An example is "Daddy giraffe gives his calf a kiss on the neck." It's good because you use the baby name of the baby animal and the different body parts. At the end there is a human baby and daddy. Hubby's take: *groan* *sigh* "It still has kissing."

For the manly men, there's Daddy Hugs by Karen Katz. Hubby will read this one. It goes through the day of a daddy and baby and what ways a daddy hugs his baby. It's also a counting book. There are ten hugs. And it's a bed time book because the baby is put to bed at the end. Side note: I can't tell if the baby is a girl or a boy. The baby has short hair but is wearing pinkish/orangish overall set. I'm betting she's a girl, but there aren't any bows like in Katz's other books. Oh, well. It doesn't matter.
